I wouldn’t classify this as a pencil skirt, it’s definitely more loose. It’s a gross between a pencil skirt and an A-line. I would have preferred one or the other. But the material is fantastic and feels great in my skin.
True to size, quite comfortable, the belt with no belt loops threw me a little but I finally figured out how to wear it so that’s great.. I’m 172cm and 75kg carting it mostly around the hips lol and I got an XL which was GOOD gave me a little extra room but L might be better
The fit was perfect and it’s very lightweight so great for hot summer days. I paired it with a denim shirt so it was easy to style. It’s my new fav skirt.
I've been trying to find more hijab appropriate clothes, however I'm so tall its hard to find a skirt (or anything) my length. The style of this skirt is really cute but of course it comes up short on me. I hate buying online cause I usually get stuck with the item. And hijabi websites are not affordable
The skirt is comfortable and stylish while still being conservative. In the winter, I pair it with tights, a concert tee, boots and a cropped blazer. I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear it! Thank you, Urban Modesty!
I love UM skirts. They make them exactly the way I want them. Only issue is they often sell out.
